The cold frame has served its purpose very well. I can use it as a starting point for plants and be well ahead and hopefully more economical with plant purchases.
There is a problem with the doors. The henge design does not work well so every time one of the tops is lifted it becomes misaligned and will not drop back into place without a great deal of careful realignment. This problem might be easily remedied by engineering larger interlocking henges (greater diameter, smaller slit).
I’d also suggest that the person who writes the assembly instructions should assemble one or two of the units before writing the directions. While I’m not sure I could do better, I might suggest color coding better lettering of parts. Permanent marks would help as I need to disassemble the unit in hot weather for storage and reassemble it next fall.
So, I’d recommend this product with the above reservations.
